Sean and I had such a blast with Lauren and Jordan at their lakeside engagement session in Reinbeck, IA! This couple is super sweet and they are so in love! Lauren is a PE teacher/coach in Cedar Falls, and Jordan is a farmer in Reinbeck at his family’s farm. Due to Jordan being a farmer, and Lauren’s busy teaching schedule, our options for timing on the engagement session were limited. Unfortunately, the weather just did not want to cooperate for us, and we had to reschedule a few times. Luckily, the 3rd time’s the charm! We ended up with the perfect March day! The sun came out, the snow melted, and the ground had dried up enough that we didn’t have to deal with too much mud. Lauren had asked for their engagement session to be at the family lake on Jordan’s property. The lake is one of their favorite hang outs with lots of sentimental value. This was the location of their first date as well as the spot Jordan popped the question! Our goal for this session was to get to know each other a little bit, and to have lots of fun creating some gorgeous images. I can’t wait to work with them again in June to capture their wedding!
