MEET Sean & Nicole

As a freshman in high school, Ashley had the biggest crush on Blake, who was a senior at the time. Nothing ever came of the crush, and after Blake graduated, Ashley believed that was the end of it. Eight years later, sharing some of the same friends, they ran into each other at their town’s festival. They were both interested in each other, but the time wasn’t quite right. Ashley moved out of state, but Blake occasionally would check up on her to see if she was still out there. After a while Ashley moved back to Iowa and she and Blake ran into each other at a bar. Blake being a man of few words, asked Ashley to play pool, and when she declined that seemed to be the end of their interaction, other than him buying a shot for Ashley, along with their 20+ friends. Several months later, Ashley and Blake ran into each other on a friend’s party bus. At the end of the night Blake grabbed Ashley and kissed her and that was it! She fell for him almost instantly, and he for her. In her questionnaire Ashley said, “It’s crazy to think we have “known” each other for almost 15 years, and we’re now insanely in love and about to get married!”

Sean and I were so excited for Ashley’s and Blake’s wedding. She had gushed over our photos and had let us know that photos were one of the most important aspects of her wedding day. We love clients that value our photography! Their wedding was absolutely gorgeous with blush pinks, greens, and small pops of color. Ashley and Blake got ready at the Cedar Falls Woman’s Club and the ceremony was across the street at Overman Park. After the ceremony the wedding party enjoyed some refreshments at a local bar and then it was off to the Waterloo Elks Club for the reception. We got to work with some amazing vendors and create emotive, beautiful images. Their day was filled with love, laughter, happy tears, and lots of fun! It was a day to remember for sure! We wish Ashley and Blake all the best and a happy ever after together!

Hanna and Tyler met on a late night snack run through a mutual friend. They pretty much hit it off instantly.
